“To me, identities and relationships are things and traits that make us who we are. They are unique and valuable pieces of us that shape our lives.

––––––––– Angela 付羽希(Class of 2029)

我对这个全球概念的理解是去探索自己个人的思想、信仰、价值观以及人与人之间的关系。"

“The world is covered by our trace. We are forever singular, yet our footsteps intertwine and pair into infinity. We smear away our scars with paint, for fear that blood might taint our trails. We contrive our past, our present, our future. That is why even if we are embraced under the same sky, our disguises stripped, we are still blinded as to who we are.

––––––––– Bella 赵家宁(Class of 2028)

“I believe it is how we view ourselves, create and maintain relationships with our family and friends, and take responsibility within a community or team. This is when concepts like diversity, equity, and inclusion all come into play.

––––––––– Annie 何旻悦 (Class of 2028)

To me, Identity and relationships lie at the core of human existence, defining our individuality and shaping our experiences of connection."

––––––––– Tim 顾品奕 (Class of 2028)

We peer into our relationships to get a glimpse of our identities. Yet, oftentimes, the deeper we travel into those tangled strings of relationship, the more obscure our identities become.“

––––––––– Sophia 沈宣其 (Class of 2028)

From a diversity of identities, we seek similarities and differences in our perspectives, thereby fostering interconnections and a deeper understanding of the world."

––––––––– Jonathan 毕晨翔 (Class of 2028)

"I believe our personal identities can be categorized into two types:

One's external identity (defined as how one is viewed from another's perspective) decides how he/she is seen from the eyes of another, while their internal identity (defined as how one is viewed from his/her perspective), which decides how he/her sees the "another". The two are inter-influential as one's own internal identity can change based on influence from another's external identity and thus change how he/her views & treats the world, while one's own external identity can change based on influence from another's internal identity and thus changing how he/her is viewed & treated by the world, defining an origin for the terminology "rumors".
