“I think Personal and cultural expression is a strong tool for individuals and communities to celebrate variety, encourage understanding, and preserve their distinct identities, while also encouraging creativity, empathy, and social cohesiveness. However, they fill me with awe and appreciation because they highlight the richness and beauty of human uniqueness while reminding us of the universal threads that bind us all together.

I think Personal expression aims to introduce the establishment/reinforcement of one's uniqueness or one's belonging to a specific community. Often, expression works best with appropriate usage of ethos & a fierce tone in one's expression. Meanwhile, cultural expression only demonstrates uniqueness. Expression can take many forms including art & speech, such as Martin Luther King's speech on racial equality and Chinese opera. Successful expressions assist with shaping the external identity of an individual/community.

我认为传统的宗教文化和新兴的意识形态与我而言形成了矛盾，冲突，也有共振。同时，二者又在潜移默化的塑造我的价值观和道德观。若我们以旁观者的视角去观察它们，或许会发现它们所达成的微妙平衡。
