"Orientation is defined as the "determination of the relative position of something or someone". Orientation through time and space thus means the determination of one's relative position in the range of time and space, which introduces the concept of acceptance and adaptability, to which if one longs to thrive in the status quo situation, one must first identify his/her positioning in the plane of time & space, and try his/her best to participate in the community marginalized by the borders of time & space. The borders are set by the general society and are thus hard to break, expand, or adjust. But through the cases of the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution, we find that it is never impossible for one to change the definition of an orientation on the time/space plane.

"I often feel insignificant, and the human race seems insignificant as well, given the incredible vastness and unknowability of the universe. The universe isn’t meant to be fair, but I suppose we can always support each other, in the little ways we can. I don’t know if it’ll matter in the end, or if we’re achieving something great with our nonstop pursuit of knowledge and justice by our standards, but at least it keeps us busy. Perhaps we should just strive to create a proper environment for others who will one day grow up to answer these questions.
