"Connection and balance between human development and our mother nature's sustenance are always key for survival and long-term benefits. The importance of constancy and the methods for each individual to contribute to such constancy is what all should learn.

I think the majority prefers a broad utilitarian framework: The more that benefit, the better. That's why most governments of developing countries prioritize lifting the lower-class citizens from poverty and this is also why the UN focuses most on people with incapabilities (mental, physical, social). Thus allows for the development of a globalized society with an abundance of international communication, attempting the development of a better, more sustainable world. It is important to keep in mind that globalization does not necessarily mean unification in all aspects. Rather, it is simply increased communication and inspiration. "

I think Globalization is the expansion of the realm of human knowledge, it allows our knowledge to accumulate, our culture to combine and become widely recognized, and our vision to expand from a single country to the world and even the universe. "

–––––––– Kiki 朱芃琪 (Class of 2028)

“I think globalization and sustainability are both terms that are becoming increasingly relevant with the development of modern societies. Globalization has a complex relationship with sustainability: it can be detrimental to sustainable development but it is also important to recognize its potential in facilitating a future that is sustainable for both humankind and other life on earth through the unique opportunities it presents by fostering a more interconnected world.
